Powerful forward Sam Lockley has returned to Hinckley AFC ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.
The striker, who initially signed in 2020, scored twice on his debut away to Rocester but only played three games before the second covid lockdown ended that season.
He left that summer and spent the bulk of the time since then in the United Counties Premier South, with the likes of Long Buckby and Rugby Borough.
He joined Daventry Town at the start of last season, before stepping up to join Coventry Sphinx, from where he dual registered with Hinckley for one game last September.
Now fully fit again and ready to get back to enjoying his football, he has re-joined Hinckley ahead of the new campaign and adds pace and power to the front line.
