Pacy young forward Afonso Mvula is back at Hinckley AFC.
Mvula spent a couple of seasons in our youth team alongside the likes of Jake Tullin and Prince Ogbe, and broke into the first-team set-up towards the end of last season, scoring his first senior goal against Daventry Town in April.
He left in the summer having gained a scholarship in America, but he now isn’t leaving as soon as initially thought and so returns after spending the early part of this season gaining more men’s football experience with Lutterworth Athletic.
Meanwhile, Fin Barker has left to join league leaders Belper United. Barker joined in the summer and played 11 times, scoring against Clipstone in the League Cup.
Tullin added: “Although it didn’t quite work out for Fin at Hinckley, there is no doubt that he has all the talent necessary to succeed and we wish him good luck for the future.”
Welcome back Afonso and thanks for your efforts, Fin!
