Left sided defender Callum Martin and midfielder Gez McGahey have joined Hinckley AFC ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The duo have both featured in pre-season so far, and impressed Courtney Belford and his backroom team to be signed on for the campaign ahead.
18-year-old Martin is a young and quick defender who has just been released from Coventry City, and featured in Tuesday’s win over Coventry Sphinx.
An athletic full back, he scored twice in ten games for Coventry Copsewood last season under Joe Conneely.
Meanwhile, McGahey is an attack-minded midfielder who has been coached by Ryan Conneely before at the Strachan Foundation and featured for Rugby Borough during the brothers’ time there.
He then spent the last couple of seasons with Long Buckby in the United Counties League, scoring seven times in 29 games for them since joining early in 2019.
He has also played for Rio Red Storm in America and adds further competition for places in midfield.
Welcome to the club, Callum and Gez!
