The vote for the Easy Laundry Player of the Month for August is now live, with four players vying for your votes to win the award.
The four nominees are Sam Agar, Lee Butler, Mike Harvey and Ryan Paddock, but if you’re still unsure, here’s a closer look at how they’ve fared this month…
August wasn’t Agar’s most prolific month in terms of scoring goals, but his tireless running to create chances for himself still earns him a place on the list. Against some resolute defences, the Yorkshireman still found the net four times in his five games this month and grabbed a well taken equaliser against Nuneaton Griff on Monday.
Midfielder Butler has played in six of the seven matches, only missing the FA Cup replay through injury, and has been a key figure in the heart of the midfield. He came agonsingly close to his first AFC goal but striking the bar on Monday, but has been influential in much of AFC’s good work in August.
Harvey and Paddock have started to form their central defensive partnership this month, and are the only two players to have played in all seven matches. Paddock has been a regular threat from set pieces and has been calm and assured at the back all month, while Harvey has made a number of superb challenges to prevent shots on the AFC goal.
