After fulfilling the role for much of last season, Zaki Evans will become Hinckley AFC’s club captain for 2025/26 with Jared Bradshaw supporting him as vice-captain.
Evans, who was part of our Midland League Division One title-winning squad in his debut campaign, will head into his third season at Kirkby Road this coming year.
A popular member of the squad, the midfielder was named as vice-captain last summer before taking on the captaincy regularly after Jack Edwards’ injury and departure. He will now become club captain ahead of the new season.
Stepping up to become vice-captain is Bradshaw, who won last season’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award and played every match after signing in late September, scoring 11 goals.
He has previous captaincy experience during his time with Nuneaton Griff, and will now take the armband whenever Evans is not on the field.
