First and foremost, the Board of Directors want to extend their deepest, most heartfelt gratitude to each and every person who has participated in the Hinckley Community Lottery over the last decade.
As Hinckley AFC is a community-run football club, we rely entirely on the incredible support and donations of our supporters to keep us moving forward. Because this lottery operates on a 50/50 basis, half of every single ticket purchased goes directly back into helping the club, while the other half makes up the prize fund. Your loyalty is the lifeblood of Hinckley AFC, and we cannot thank you enough.
When the final draw was executed, the results gave us all a bit of a shock! In a spectacular, “lightning-strikes-thrice” statistical anomaly, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes were all drawn for the same person, who had multiple lines in the draw.

As many of you know, Lee does serve on our Board but, more importantly, he is a long-standing fan of this football club. Just like the rest of our board members, Lee pays into the lottery out of his own pocket simply to support our community club. This time, his support paid off in a way none of us could have predicted!
To ensure absolute fairness, the draw was completely blind and automated. Furthermore, the entire process was independently witnessed and verified by Vernon Bailey, a dedicated supporter of the club who has never partaken in the lottery and has absolutely no involvement with its running. While the draw was entirely random and fair, Lee has completely removed any room for debate. True to his dedication to Hinckley AFC, he has immediately chosen to donate the net proceeds of his winnings straight back into the football club, turning his win into a massive financial boost for the club. Instead of keeping the winnings, he has put Hinckley AFC and its members first, ensuring the club is the real winner of this final draw.
