Stafford Town have requested that all supporters attending tomorrow’s Midland League Division One opener use the correct entrance and car park at Evans Park.
Our hosts have advised that supporters parking at the cricket club risk being clamped, and have requested that supporters enter the ground off Fairway, not Riverway as has been used in previous years.
They say the postcode to use is ST16 3TL, and have attached the following new directions:
From South M6 J13
Take A449 towards Stafford for 1.5 miles until reaching traffic lights by Esso petrol station. Turn right at lights into Rickerscote Road, follow road round over Railway Bridge to Mini Island, at island bear left into Silkmore Lane. At next Mini Island (approx 600 metres) take 2nd exit and carry on to large island. Take 2nd exit towards Stafford Town Centre (A34 Lichfield Road) go over Railway Bridge with GE factory on left hand side. Right at next traffic lights into St Leonards Avenue and follow road to roundabout, take first exit into Fairway, follow road for 0.1 miles then turn left just past football pitch into drive leading to Ground (signboard on opposite side of road)
