Hinckley AFC have completed a double defensive boost with the signings of Ethan Flaig and Will Harris.
Both central defenders, the pair add further reinforcements to the AFC back line ahead of the start of the new season later this month.
Harris joins from Redditch United, whom he joined last summer, but he picked up a knee ligament injury on just his second start for the club which ruled him out for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old previously had a spell in America, and a brief stint with Halesowen Town at the end of the 2023/24 season before linking up with Redditch. He is unlikely to be fit for the start of the season, but is nearing the end of his recovery from injury, targeting a return in August.
Meanwhile, Flaig can play either at centre-back or on the left, and has twice been promoted to the United Counties Premier South – first with Long Buckby, and then Rugby Borough.
He has made nearly 200 appearances at steps five and six for those two clubs, featuring just shy of 40 times for Borough when they were promoted and another 33 games in their debut season at this level.
