Hinckley AFC’s Under 18s have been crowned champions of the Midland Floodlit Youth League Eastern Division.
Other results going our way since our final game of the season mean Hinckley now have an unassailable eight-point lead at the top, with the three sides behind us having just two games left to play.
It’s been a remarkable effort from Lewis Hudson’s side, who have won 10 league games in a row and are unbeaten in Eastern Division matches since the end of October.
It caps off a superb year for Hinckley’s young guns, seven of whom played in league games for the first team at step five this season.
