Goalkeeper Dale Eve signs

With injuries to both Carl O’Neill and Divin Emmanuel, Hinckley AFC have moved quickly to sign former Walsall Wood goalkeeper and current Bermuda international stopper Dale Eve.

Eve joins as emergency cover in goal after Emmanuel’s dislocated finger at the weekend added to O’Neill’s ongoing calf problem.

He started last season at Alvechurch before moving to Walsall Wood, having also spent time with Spennymoor Town and Hereford in the National League North previously.

He came through the youth ranks at Stoke City, and among his loan spells from there was a time with Nuneaton Town in 2014.

The 29-year-old also has more than 30 caps for Bermuda, where he is currently the national vice-captain having made his debut as a 16-year-old in 2011.

Welcome to Hinckley, Dale!
