Lewis Rankin and Harry Walker-Donovan have extended their stays at Hinckley AFC into the new 2024/25 season.
The midfield pair have both proven hugely valuable over their times at the club and will continue to wear red and blue in our first season at step five.
Now the club’s longest-serving player after the departure of Ky Green, Rankin passed a century of games in a Hinckley shirt last term in what he admitted was his best season with the club.
He scored 22 goals in 45 games in our title-winning campaign, taking his tally to 48 in 119 overall. Only three players have scored more Hinckley AFC goals.
Meanwhile, Walker-Donovan’s 2023/24 season was hampered by niggling injuries but he still featured 31 times in all competitions. Of his three goals, the standout was his equaliser at Droitwich Spa in a top-of-the-table clash that AFC went on to win.
He was our leading appearance maker from the previous season and has pulled on the shirt 80 times overall.
Welcome back, Lewis and Harry!
