Tom Armitage has left Hinckley AFC to join Hednesford Town while Sam Walton has also departed the club.
Armitage joined the club in the summer but had a stop-start opening to the campaign after battling hamstring and ankle problems. He featured eight times down the left flank but now steps up two levels to join Hednesford and their new manager Harry Harris.
Meanwhile, Walton joined the club just under a year ago and played 32 times during his spell, scoring four goals – three of them coming at home to AFC Bridgnorth.
Joint Manager Joe Conneely said: “We’ve had a phone call about Tom pretty much every week since he signed, and had two or three sets of seven days in since the summer. It’s a good move for him, and Harry went about it well so we have no ill feeling towards them.
“He’ll still be dual signed so can hopefully help us out if we need him and Hednesford don’t have a game. He could never get into a run of games with injuries but it’s a good move for him and we wish him well.
“Sam came off injured against Stone and didn’t play in the last couple of games, so he’s decided to move on too. He’s been brilliant for us since he joined last season and we wish him well going forward.”
Meanwhile, the squad continues to face some injuries with five players batting problems of different severities. Chandler Pegg has had a scan and remains a long-term absentee, while Josh Clews will also be out until the new year with the injury he picked up at Allscott Heath. Brandon Bache has a hand issue, Harry Walker-Donovan is around a month away from full fitness while Isa Abraham continues to battle a hamstring niggle.
