Part two of Hinckley AFC’s Easter weekend double sees them travel to Ingles for a Bank Holiday Leicestershire derby.
With a quick turnaround after Saturday’s game at Chelmsley, Hinckley will look to extend their winning run further and maintain their hold on second place in the table in a county derby.
It’ll be the second time in six weeks that Joe Conneely has taken his side to Homestead Road, after a League Cup tie there in February.
Isa Abraham scored twice as Hinckley won 3-1 there that night as part of their run to the semi-final at Atherstone Town next week.
Ingles have had a 2023 of streaks – they won a superb seven league games in a row either side of that League Cup tie, but then lost four in the bounce before returning to form with an impressive 3-0 win over Stapenhill on Saturday.
They’ll now be hoping that leads to another run into Monday and the final showings of the season.
Ingles play at Homestead Road, Thringstone, LE67 8LL. Fans can park at the ground behind the top goal – please do not park at Thringstone Members Club on Loughborough Road as before for the League Cup tie.
