Hinckley AFC will remain second in the Division One table if they can win away to Coton Green on Monday night.
Hinckley recorded another win over AFC Bridgnorth on Saturday and will now look to back that up with the short visit up the A5.
A win will move them three clear in second for 24 hours at least, until Droitwich play Heath Hayes on Tuesday and then Ashby visit Smethwick Rangers a day later.
Coton won at Kirkby Road just before Christmas when former AFC forward Matt Gardner scored a second-half winner in a 2-1 victory for them.
Hinckley boss Joe Conneely says his side will learn from what went wrong that night and try to perfect it this time around.
“We played ok that night but got undone by a decent strike first half and you can’t afford to let Matt Gardner have a free header.
“We’ll go there with a plan, and try and keep a run going. It will be a tough game, they’ll be really up for beating us again and doing the double over us. They’re a hardworking and honest group and we’ll have to be really good to win the game.”
Gardner’s 25 goals have helped Coton to eighth in their debut season at step six, having leapfrogged Nuneaton Griff with a 2-0 win on Saturday when Gardner grabbed both.
And one side’s impressive run will have to end – both sides have won their last three games without conceding a goal and Coton have the league’s fourth best defensive record.
Coton Green play at New Mill Lane, Fazeley, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B78 3RX.
