Hinckley AFC are delighted to welcome youth team product Reece Giles back to the club.
The young midfielder was a product of the club’s Under 18 side and went on to make 27 appearances for the first-team as a teenager in two covid-shortened seasons.
Such was his impact, he was voted as the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Young Player of the Year in 2019/20.
And the following summer he earned a move to the National League North with Kettering Town.
Now, after a spell on loan with Leicester Nirvana at step five last year, Reece returns home ahead of 2021/22.
Manager Joe Conneely said: “We’re delighted to have Reece back.
“He’s been struggling with a bit of a knee problem so hasn’t featured yet but he’s nearing fitness. He’s a fantastic player and a great lad.
“Once we knew he was available we were keen to get him back around the club and we’re looking forward to seeing him in a Hinckley shirt again.”
Welcome back, Reece!
