Hinckley AFC would like to issue a huge thanks to everyone who donated to our foodbank collection at the game against Hucknall Town.
More than 100 items, mostly of food but also other items such as detergent, were handed over to our Supporters’ Group.
The bags were donated to Rev Martin Castle in Earl Shilton, who will distribute them to the relevant foodbanks.
Organiser Zoe Measom said: “Martin and his wife Rebecca were very grateful for our support. They said they are busier than ever at the moment and wanted to extend their thanks to everyone who donated.
“In particular, to those fans from Hucknall Town who passed food across.”
After the success of this weekend, we hope to be able to do something similar once a month from next season.
