Hinckley AFC will target a 13th United Counties Division One win in a row with a first ever visit to West Bridgford this weekend.
AFC’s 12 consecutive wins is a club record and means they head into the final nine games of the season at the top of the table. Courtney Belford’s side hold a three-point advantage over Kimberley Miners Welfare, who have a game in hand.
This weekend they face a trip to a West Bridgford side who sit 17th in the table. They’ve won 12 and drawn three of their 34 games so far, and were beaten 4-2 at Lutterworth Athletic last weekend.
Kai Moore has hit 13 goals in ten games for them since joining from Borrowash Victoria and is their leading scorer.
The reverse fixture at Kirkby Road in November ended 2-0, with the visitors defending well until Hinckley broke the deadlock in the second half. Lewis Rankin and Dom Alleyne were on the scoresheet that night.
West Bridgford play at the Regatta Way Sports Ground, Gamston, Nottingham, NG2 5AT. They have informed us that no dogs will be allowed on the ground.
