Hinckley AFC manager Courtney Belford has added three more players to his squad ahead of the start of the competitive season.
The trio all featured in our final pre-season friendly against Barwell on Tuesday, and have all signed forms for the club for the coming season ahead of Saturday’s season opener against Heath Hayes.
Versatile forward Jake Healy, who scored on Tuesday to make it two goals in pre-season, returns for a second spell at the club. Having originally signed under Carl Abbott two years ago, he scored six times in 11 league games that season under Abbott and Dale Belford and also featured in the run to the FA Vase fourth round.
Central defender Curtis Townley arrives from Pershore Town, having shared their Supporters’ Player of the Year last season. A man who can also play at right back, he played 40 times for Droitwich Spa the season before last as they narrowly missed out on promotion from Division Two.
The third and final addition is Alex Lock, a winger who arrives on loan from Nuneaton Borough. The tall winger, who spent time in Coventry City’s youth system, has also played for Bedworth United’s successful Under 21 side and Coventry Copsewood.
Welcome to the club Jake, Curtis and Alex!
