Hinckley AFC are pleased to confirm the signing of central defender Martin Hutchcox from Racing Club Warwick.
The commanding centre back has spent the last two seasons with the Racers, playing more than 80 times for them as a regular part of their back line.
He joined them from Coventry United, and, like Jean Dakouri, knows what it takes to win Division One having been part of their side that were champions of the league three seasons ago.
Prior to that, the 30-year-old also played for the likes of Bedworth United and Banbury United and can also play at right back.
On the addition, manager James Jepson said: “I have been trying to get ‘Mav’ over since I got the job, but he stayed loyal to Racing Club Warwick and you can’t fault him for that.
“He’s played in this league for a few years now and knows what’s required having won the championship with Coventry United.
“He will add leadership and quality to the back line and I’m pleased he’s decided to come.”
