Manager James Jepson has continued to add to his Hinckley AFC side with three new signings completed this weekend.
Now a week into the pre-season schedule, a further trio have linked up with the squad after impressing during the early stages of training with Jake Jones, Callum Willimont and Toby Moore all joining.
Former Walsall winger Jones (25, pictured above second from right) made a handful of first team appearances for the Saddlers before moving into non-league upon his release from the Bescot Stadium.
Having played for Tamworth and Leamington among others, he joined Redditch United last summer.
Young central defensive duo Willimont (pictured right) and Moore have also joined the club. Both just 18 years of age, the pair have experience of step six and higher despite their tender years.
Formerly on the Peterborough United’s books as a youngster, Willimont has been with Kettering Town since leaving Posh and has made first team appearances for the Poppies as well as spending time with United Counties League side Bugbrooke St Michaels.
Meanwhile, Moore was part of the Dunkirk side that won the East Midlands Counties League last season. He played more than 50 times for the club last term and has made more than a century of appearances for them over the last three seasons.
On the additions, Jepson said: “We are delighted to have Jonah at the club. It’s a big statement but I feel we have signed the best player in the league today.
“He has played at the very top of non-league football and league football too, which will help the youngsters we have signed. We must not forget that he is only 25 and has come to Hinckley for the right reasons. He has bought into what Donal, John and myself are trying to achieve and I couldn’t be happier.
“With Toby, I’m thrilled as again we have beaten higher league teams to his signature and Callum is another excellent signing for us as we look to shape our squad.”
