Winger Sean Williams says he will not be leaving Hinckley AFC despite recent approaches from elsewhere.
The former Bromsgrove man has been the subject of interest from other clubs over the past seven days, but wants to stay at Hinckley and add to his 53 appearances and fourteen goals for the club thus far.
Speaking after yesterday’s match at Greenwood Meadows, he emphasised how much he is enjoying his football at Hinckley, and spoke about the other factors in his decision to stay.
He said: “I’m definitely staying, one hundred percent. I’m really enjoying it with the lads, the management staff and the fans.
“The support we get from the fans week in, week out, is quality, and Abbo was a huge factor as well (in the decision to stay). I get on really well with everybody here.”
‘Willo’ has moved to a more central role over the course of the last few matches, scoring twice in his ten games this season along with a number of assists, and said he has “no reason to go anywhere else.”
