Hinckley AFC regret to inform our members that our Annual General Meeting has had to be postponed until Thursday 26th January.
This is owning to holidays at the accountants, which means the club accounts will not be ready until after this Thursday – the scheduled date of the AGM.
Chairman Steve Jelfs said: “The directors are extremely frustrated by the continued delay as, we are sure, are the majority of our members.
“We were faced with the choice of either going ahead with the AGM and adjourning until the figures are ready, or once again postponing the event until a later date when all the business of the AGM could be achieved in one evening.
“On balance, it was felt that postpone would have the lesser impact as to bring everyone down to an adjourned AGM at this busy time of year would be best avoided.
“We hope that our members agree.”
The club would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
