Hinckley AFC will hope to continue their recent free-scoring run away at Studley tonight, kick off 7-45pm.
Carl Abbott’s side reached a century of league goals this season in Saturday’s 9-0 win over Stafford Town, which was preceded by a 13-0 thumping of basement side Southam United the week before.
The Ponchinello’s Player of the Month for March, Sam Agar, has now scored eight goals in his last two games, while Ryan Seal has netted six times in two.
The recent flurry of goals means Carl Abbott’s side are now just seven behind last year’s tally, with tonight’s game at Studley one of four left to play in the Midland League First Division.
A win for Hinckley will help them keep up the pressure on fourth place entering the final ten days of the season.
Meanwhile, Studley are secure in mid table, sitting twelfth in the league with 42 points from their 33 games.
The Bees have lost just one of their last six, their five undefeated including a draw against league leaders Bromsgrove Sporting and a win over a Heath Hayes team who were previously unbeaten in their last eight.
Studley play at The Beehive, Abbeyfields Drive, Studley, Warwickshire, B80 7BF. The ground is approximately five miles south of Junction 3 of the M42, about half a mile past ‘The Boot’ public house.
