Double swoop as Edmonds departs

Hinckley AFC have completed a double midfield addition this week while striker Dan Edmonds has departed the club.

Manager Chris Tullin has been busy this week as he begins to shape his own squad, and has added 21-year-old midfielder George Dimmock. He joins from Romulus, having reached the step six play-offs last season with Bewdley Town.

Also coming in is young attack-minded midfielder Max Kirby, who spent last season with FA Vase winners AFC Stoneham. He made his first-team debut for them aged just 16 to become one of their youngest-ever players, and played 14 times on their journey to an FA Vase and Wessex Premier double.

He now links up with Hinckley having just moved to the area for university.

Heading in the other direction is Dan Edmonds, who moves to a club in the United Counties Premier South. Dan played 10 times at the start of this season and scored in the defeat to Belper United. We’d like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.

Welcome to Hinckley, George and Max!
