Dan Edmonds joins Hinckley

Hinckley AFC can confirm another new signing as highly-rated attacker Dan Edmonds joins the club.

A former Nuneaton Borough youth-teamer, Edmonds played against Hinckley for Nuneaton Griff during our Midland League Division One title-winning season.

He formed part of a dynamic front line alongside Jared Bradshaw, and scored 11 goals for them that season, but it was the following campaign where he really made his name, hitting 24 goals in his first full season.

That earned him a move to Atherstone Town last summer, and he scored twice in the early part of last season but his campaign was cut short by injury.

He got his eye back in with Coventry Copsewood towards the end of last season, but is now ready to attack step five again.

Edmonds said: “I’m really excited to be joining Hinckley AFC this season. I was coached by Adam and Ross when I first started to play so I’m really looking forward to working with them again.

“I am ready for the new season and to show what I am capable of moving forward.”

Joint boss Adam Davies added: “Dan is quick, full of running and is a real nuisance for the opposition. Welcome to Hinckley AFC Dan. Let the progress continue.”

Welcome to Hinckley, Dan!
