An update from the Board

While the close season sees a short break from football on the pitch, work behind the scenes continues apace, with the directors of Hinckley AFC busy in preparations for the coming season and, just as importantly, beyond that too.

Opportunities for the club’s development are being actively explored with various stakeholders with a view to securing the long-term health and position of the club. Members and supporters will be kept posted through our usual channels as and when there are further updates.

Hinckley AFC, formed over a decade ago as a result of the demise of Hinckley United, exists as a fan-owned community asset for all the people of Hinckley and the surrounding area, irrespective of background, race, or gender.

With its history, Hinckley AFC supporters know about the loss of their club and have always welcomed supporters to its matches either as part of transitional arrangements, or naturally to follow the team on its journey on a more permanent basis. In the light of the recent statement by Hinckley LRFC, and in line with the stated constitution of Hinckley AFC, the elected directors of the club wish to make it clear that our club is for everyone and we continue to welcome all local football supporters at all of our matches.

Furthermore, a growing supporter base generally is the lifeblood of any football club at our level, so all supporters are urged to encourage friends, family, neighbours to come and experience what being here means to us all.

Hinckley AFC is an affordable, friendly and authentic way to spend your Saturday afternoons – we are Hinckley AFC, and you could be too – come and join us!
