Former Coventry Sphinx midfielder Jack Kennedy has signed for Hinckley AFC ahead of the new season along with four of the club’s Under 18s side.
Kennedy came through the youth ranks at Sphinx and broke into the first team during the last two seasons.
A physical central player, he featured seven times during their title-winning campaign at step five last season. He also spent time with Nuneaton Griff and Coventry Copsewood.
He has signed for the club alongside a quartet of players from the Hinckley Under 18s side. Goalkeeper Zach Sutton, defender Kye Barrows and attack-minded duo Josh Clarke and Josh Kealey have all signed having featured in pre-season. Sutton saved a late penalty at Coventry Alvis on Saturday, while Kealey scored in that game and Clarke scored at Kirby Muxloe the previous week.
