Hinckley AFC would like to thank Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and the Football Foundation for grants that have enabled the club to replace the leaking roof in our portacabin.
The Council’s ‘Parish & Communities Initiative Fund’ is contributing £1250 and a similar amount the Football Foundation provided a similar amount.
The portacabin is vital to the club as it provides the office, shop and storage facilities we need.
In addition, now the repairs are complete, we aim to provide a seating for supporters prior to the start of matches again.
Club Chairman, Bryan White, was grateful to both organisations. He said: ‘Grants are vital to a small organisation like ourselves. They assist when unexpected costs arise that could impact on the club’s operations.
“On behalf of the club I would like to express our thanks to both Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and the Football Foundation.”
