Hinckley AFC go in search of a fifth straight win when they visit Rocester on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
AFC travel to Hillsfield high on confidence after four straight victories, the latest of which came last midweek when two second half goals earned three points over Nuneaton Griff.
Next up, they visit a Rocester side who haven’t played a league match for more than two weeks because of a covid outbreak, but who won three of their opening seven games before their mini break.
Nobody in the league has played fewer games than the Romans, but they have scored 17 goals in those seven outings including putting seven past Coventry Copsewood and four past Ashby Ivanhoe.
And having recently re-signed their leading scorer from the last couple of seasons, Jordon Dodd, Paul Wright’s side will be looking to right the wrongs of their FA Vase defeat to Bewdley Town on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Hinckley could leap up to second in the table with a win as they look to continue their recent good form.
They’ve scored ten goals and conceded just three in those four consecutive wins, and with six different scorers finding the net in them too, Courtney Belford’s side are spreading goals across the team.
Rocester play at Hillsfield, Mill Street, Rocester, Staffordshire, ST14 5JX.
