Alex Penny has become the first former Hinckley AFC player to join a Football League club after joining Peterborough United today.
Penny, who only left AFC for Nuneaton Town last summer, impressed in his debut season at Liberty Way and had interest from a host of clubs.
Today, the defender joined Posh for an undisclosed fee which breaks the record for Nuneaton’s highest fee received for a player.
Good luck Alex!
