It’s a historic matchday for our brand new Under 18s side as they play their first ever pre-season friendly against Rugby Town tonight.
The match will take place on the 3G pitch on the site of the Greene King Stadium, and kicks off at 7-30pm.
Admission is free for anyone to go down and watch as Dan Gibson’s side prepare for their league season, with the players also hoping to stake a claim for inclusion in Carl Abbott’s first team squad as the season goes on.
Gibson’s side have been placed in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Eastern Division for their inaugural season.
