Hinckley AFC will be holding our first foodbank collection of the new season to Hinckley foodbank at at the match against Kimberley Miners Welfare on Saturday 5th September.
The donation days have proved hugely successful in the last couple of seasons as we look to help out those who need it most in our community.
Once again, everything collected next weekend will be donated to Hinckley foodbank to help people in our area.
At the moment, the foodbank are particularly short of tins of tomatoes, meat, carrots, peas and fruit, as well as potatoes, custard, long life fruit juice, squash and biscuits. They are also keen for non-food items including male and female deodorants, baby top-to-toe wash, shower gel, razors and men’s shaving foam.
While the above list gives suggestions, it it far from an exhaustive list and all items would be gratefully received.
You can drop off your donations outside the club shop at any point during the matchday.
