Hinckley AFC wish to take this opportunity to remind everyone that ours is a fully inclusive club committed to providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment at all times.
In the light of some recent incidents, we would remind supporters that while our wonderful game generates passion, that must not be allowed to spill over to unacceptable behaviour.
By being a member of Hinckley AFC, and/or by entering Kirkby Road for Hinckley AFC matches, everyone is bound by the rules of law and those set by the club, and supporters should follow any instructions from matchday stewards or club officials while attending. Furthermore, those supporting Hinckley AFC at away matches are expected to conduct themselves to the same high standards.
Use of discriminatory or threatening language or behaviour will not be tolerated at any time, by anyone. In line with the Club’s constitution, action has been taken when this has occurred and there would be no hesitation in taking the same action if there were any further incidents.
Furthermore, all are reminded that it is an offence for unauthorised incursion on to the field of play by supporters. Similarly, such action may result in immediate ejection from the ground and potential subsequent restriction of entry to matches.
Until now, our younger supporters have been allowed to bring footballs into the ground on match days. Unfortunately, in recent weeks there have been some instances of those balls entering the field of play, risking the match being interrupted and generally disturbing the free-flowing enjoyment for other supporters. Therefore, from the home match on Saturday 14th March onwards, in line with guidelines already adopted by Barwell FC at Kirkby Road and many other grounds in our league, supporters’ footballs will not be allowed into the ground at Hinckley AFC’s matches.
Our younger supporters are instead encouraged to register interest to join one of the new Hinckley AFC Junior teams which are in preparation for 2026/27 season!
