Hinckley AFC have added a wealth of experience to the back line with the signing of Alex Dean from Coalville Town.
Vastly experienced defender Dean, who played for Nuneaton Borough, Bedworth United, and over 300 appearances as a club legend at Coalville, now joins Hinckley ahead of the final three months of the season.
He was part of the Coalville side that came within a whisker of the National League North earlier this decade, also featuring for them in their FA Cup first round tie away to Charlton in 2022.
The management team have finally got their man to commit after years of trying to sign him and said: “Alex is a local non-league legend and seasoned operator at levels much higher than our current one.
“He has always been fit as a fiddle, reliable, but most importantly more than consistent in his performances.
“Adding leadership to our squad has been completely intentional as we continue to move forward. And there are not many as natural and experienced as Alex in that department.
“At the start of the season Alex rejoined Coalville as a returning legend, but he will quickly become a fan favourite with us too.”
Welcome to Hinckley, Alex!
