Edwards joins Atherstone

Hinckley AFC can confirm that Jack Edwards has left the club to join Atherstone Town.

Appointed as club captain in the summer, Edwards has endured a stop-start season through suspensions and injury, limiting him to 10 appearances this campaign.

The last of those came in September, having nursed an ankle problem ever since, and has he decided to spend the remainder of the season with fellow step five outfit Atherstone.

In total, he has played 140 times for the club, and leaves just 11 shy of Luke Richards’ club record. He has also chipped in with 35 goals.

Thanks for your efforts in a Hinckley shirt, Jack.
