For the second consecutive weekend, Hinckley AFC face a trip to another side in the top four ahead of Saturday’s visit to Cradley Town.
Hinckley went down to second-placed Allscott Heath last weekend and now travel to the West Midlands looking to get back to winning ways in the league.
Monday’s 7-0 win over Magna 73 quickly put the defeat behind them and gave valuable minutes to players who needed them.
Now, they’ll look to pick up where they left off in midweek with another tough test on the road at Cradley.
The opposition
Cradley have won seven of their opening 11 matches this season, including each of their last four games culminating in a 3-2 victory at Bilston Town last weekend. They have won five of their six home games, the only blot at The Beeches being a 3-1 home loss to Nuneaton Griff.
Only Hinckley and Allscott Heath have scored more goals than Cradley so far this season. Chris Bladen is their leading marksman and has five goals so far while Jack Arnold has four.
Previous meetings
Hinckley won both matches between the sides last season – a late Harry Walker-Donovan goal earning a last-gasp 1-0 win at Kirkby Road, before a more comfortable 5-1 victory at Beeches View Avenue in October
