Joint manager Joe Conneely was delighted with his Hinckley AFC side’s “ruthless” streak in the 8-0 win over Coton Green.
Six different goalscorers hit the back of the net as Hinckley scored four times in each half to strengthen their start to five wins from six games.
And after backs-to-the-wall wins in the previous two games away to Bilston and Nuneaton Griff, Conneely said to be able to dictate two games made it the ideal weekend double-header.
He said: “They were two games that we needed after the hard work we had put in with ten men in the previous two. Two games which we controlled at our tempo.
“To come out of that with two clean sheets, I’m delighted for Brandon (Bache) and everyone involved. They came without Brandon having to do too much but he made a couple of decent saves when he had to.
“And we took our goals well. We wanted to be more ruthless against Coton Green than we were on Saturday and said at half-time to be ruthless and score more.
“We did that and had the perfect bench to be able to freshen up and keep the same energy levels. All the subs made impact and it was an ideal weekend for us.”
Despite being the league’s top goalscorers, Hinckley haven’t got an individual with more than three goals yet.
In total, 14 players have found the net across the six games and Conneely says that’s crucial with last season’s leading marksman Chandler Pegg still out with injury.
“That’s an amazing stat! We’ve always had good goalscorers but have often chipped in from all areas.
“We’ve got so many who are capable of chipping in. Both full-backs got two each over the weekend and we like that. We play that expansive way where our full-backs are key to what we do.
“We’re pleased to get goals from everywhere. We need it with Chandler injured and Mitch Piggon still finding some sharpness.
“Lewis Rankin has been superb in the last two games. He was unbelievable again yesterday, and it’s nice to see him back to his best.”
