Hinckley AFC can now confirm the first five friendlies to make up our summer 2023 pre-season schedule.
The line-up includes two testing visits to step four sides and two home games against sides who also made the step six play-offs last season – with three of the matches against fellow Leicestershire opponents.
The first of the matches to be confirmed is on Monday 10th July, when we welcome Birstall United to Kirkby Road. Like ourselves, Birstall were beaten on penalties in the play-offs at step six last season.
After that, there are trips to newly promoted Quorn, who will be playing at step four next season, managed by former Hinckley favourite Richard Lavery, and then against another step four side in Coleshill Town. These games take place on Saturday 15th July and Tuesday 18th July respectively.
Then follows a trip to United Counties Division One outfit Kirby Muxloe on Saturday 22nd July, and then a home game against Rugby Borough on Monday 24th July.
Further matches will be confirmed in due course, and you can see a full list of our fixtures at https://hinckleyafc.co.uk/first-team/fixtures/.
