Hinckley AFC’s match at Smethwick Rangers was abandoned during the first half due to floodlight failure with Hinckley leading 1-0.
The issue first became apparent with the teams in the tunnel, but with enough natural light still remaining the referee was happy to let the game kick off while the problem was fixed.
Around 15 minutes were played before the lights started working again, and after a brief break to let them take effect, Isa Abraham rifled a shot home from a narrow angle to put AFC ahead.
But ten minutes later the floodlights failed again, and after 20 minutes of no progress the referee abandoned the match.
