Robbie Bunn to stay for season

Hinckley AFC are delighted that Robbie Bunn will be with the club for the remainder of the season.

The midfield man is with us on dual registration from Halesowen Town, having also featured for Redditch United this term.

He made his league debut at Chelmsley yesterday, having pulled on the shirt for the first time against Stapenhill in a League Cup game where he was awarded Man of the Match last month.

Manager Joe Conneely said: “We’re delighted Bunny has joined us for the run-in. He’s a fantastic player.

“The last month or so has been stop-start for him elsewhere but when he’s been with us he’s really enjoyed it and fitted in with the group really well.

“We’re over the moon he’s decided to see the season out with us.”

A former Bromsgrove Sporting title winner, Robbie scored ten goals as they ten goals when Sporting won Division One and hit 13 goals the following season to help them to the Premier Division title.

His first two seasons in Division One came with Littleton, plus a brief spell at Studley, and he has also played for Stourport Swifts.

On top of that, he was part of the Bromsgrove side that reached the FA Vase semi-finals and assisted both goals when his Halesowen side beat Barnet in the FA Trophy quarter-finals. He has scored against Hinckley previously for Littleton (twice) and Redditch United in the FA Cup.

Great to have you with us, Robbie!
