Hinckley AFC have completed the signing of full back Matt Dawson from Aylestone Park.
The 28-year-old right-sided defender adds considerable higher level experience to Joe Conneely’s side.
He joined Park from Quorn towards the end of last season, having spent a couple of seasons at step five with the Farley Way outfit.
It was his second spell at Quorn, having initially joined them in 2017 after brief spells with Dunkirk and Bardon Hill as a youngster.
His main breakthrough into first-team football came with Anstey Nomads the following season, which earned him a move to step four with Stamford in the summer of 2019.
It was after his spell in Lincolnshire that he returned to Quorn, and spent a couple of seasons there before linking up with Aylestone Park in the United Counties Division One.
Now, he switches across Leicestershire to link up with Hinckley in the Midland League.
Welcome to Hinckley, Matt!
