Hinckley AFC could secure a second place finish in the United Counties Division One with victory over Kirby Muxloe at Kirkby Road on Easter Monday.
AFC’s convincing win over Dunkirk on Saturday sets them two points ahead of Belper, with the Derbyshire side having just one game to play.
So a win would wrap up the runners-up spot and secure home advantage in the upcoming play-offs.
To do it, they’ll need to beat eighth-placed Kirby Muxloe in a local derby with the visitors having won every away game since early January and conceding just one goal on the road in that time.
They come into the game off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Belper on Saturday, having held their visitors until the final ten minutes.
They have scored more than 100 league goals too – with five of their players in double figures for the campaign. Kyle Tott leads the way with 19 just ahead of Adam Parry. Former Hinckley United ‘keeper Rob Peet is in goal for them.
The reverse fixture at Ratby Lane over Christmas was an end-to-end thriller, Hinckley prevailing 7-2 thanks to braces from Lewis Rankin and Isa Abraham.
