Hinckley AFC are aware of the decision to postpone all Premier League and EFL fixtures until at least April 3/4. As yet, there has been no indication on whether this affects the game at our level.
At present, our match against Ashby Ivanhoe in the League Cup tomorrow does still go ahead – we will of course update supporters should that situation change.
The Football Association has said: “We are liaising with the National League pyramids (men’s and women’s) and will continue to offer guidance and support. Any decision to continue playing or to postpone their respective competitions is a matter for each league as autonomous bodies within the game.”
In the meantime, we would urge all supporters to continue to follow Public Health England guidance and practice good hygiene.
Anyone displaying symptoms is advised not to attend the match, and remain at home to recover.
