League fixtures released

Hinckley AFC will be away to league newcomers Stapenhill on the opening day of the Midland League Division One season.

James Jepson’s first competitive game in charge will be away at Maple Grove on Saturday 4th August, kicking off at 3pm.

That will be quickly followed by AFC’s first match at the Welfare Ground on Tuesday 7th August, and then the Emirates FA Cup tie at home to Anstey Nomads the following Saturday.

Around the festive period, AFC will travel to Racing Club Warwick on the final Saturday before Christmas, before hosting Heather St John’s on the traditional Boxing Day fixture.

Hinckley’s first game of the New Year will be a reverse of the opening day, when Stapenhill visit the Welfare Ground on Saturday 5th January.

To conclude the season, Jepson’s men face an Easter weekend double header at home to Paget Rangers and away at Lichfield City, before the curtain comes down on the season at home to Brocton on Saturday 27th April.
