Winger Nick Goold has agreed to stay with Hinckley AFC for the 2018-19 season.
The left-sided player, who is equally comfortable at full back or more advanced, joined under Richard Lavery in February and played 13 times for the club last season.
He ended a long affiliation with county rivals Quorn to link up with AFC, and manager James Jepson is pleased to have fought off competition from higher levels to keep him.
Jepson said: “We’re really happy Gooldy is staying. He’s had interest from higher leagues but he’s bought into what we are trying to achieve here.
“Being a left footer, he gives us a natural balance and he’s calm on the ball with good deliveries into the box.
“We’re delighted he’s agreed to stay.”
