It’s one in, one out in Richard Lavery’s squad today with Isaac Cooper joining Midland League Premier side Rugby Town, while Jonathan Bukasa comes in.
Left sided player Bukasa is equally comfortable at left back or on the wing, and joins from Burton Park Wanderers.
He also counts the likes of Kettering Town, Romulus and Bedworth United among his former clubs.
Bukasa comes in to replace Cooper, as he becomes the second AFC player this week to step up a division by joining Rugby.
Isaac has been a regular feature on the left flank for AFC this season, making the most appearances of any player at the club having returned to the club towards the end of last season.
First joining in our inaugural season, only three players have made more appearances in the club’s history than Isaac’s 93, during which he scored 14 goals.
Welcome to the club Jonathan, and best of luck Isaac!
