Hinckley AFC are looking for a third away win on the bounce with tomorrow’s trip to Bolehall Swifts, kick off 3pm.
AFC will be looking to build on recent wins at Paget Rangers and Pershore Town as they aim to continue their quest to chase the sides above them.
They were two wins in which they had to show different qualities to emerge victorious, a dominant performance at Paget followed up by a battling three points in Worcestershire.
AFC have two games in hand on Leicester Road, Atherstone Town and Ilkeston Town and are seven, five and four points behind them respectively – ten behind league leaders Walsall Wood having played the same number of games.
Tomorrow, Richard Lavery and Tom Cherry take their side to a Bolehall side who last week slipped into the bottom two when they were beaten by fellow strugglers Stafford Town.
That was the latest of a difficult recent run for Bolehall, with the side losing 11 of their last 12 games in all competitions to fall into the Midland League Division One drop zone.
In those 12 games, they have only scored seven goals and only basement outfit Coventry Alvis have found the net fewer times than Swifts this term.
Bolehall play at Rene Road, Bolehall, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 3NN. The ground is situated just under two miles from the A5.
