Hinckley AFC look set to play their first league game since Boxing Day with tomorrow night’s trip to Paget Rangers, kick off 7-30pm.
AFC have been riddled with postponements this January, only taking to the pitch this month in the Buildbase FA Vase defeat to Marske.
Such a run of postponed league games has seen them slip to eighth in the league, three places ahead of a Paget side who sit comfortably in mid-table in their first season in Division One.
The Bears have won six of their last seven in all competitions, including a 2-1 win at Lichfield City on Saturday, the only blot on their recent copybook a last minute defeat to league leaders Walsall Wood.
With 18 goals to his name, Dan Carter has been their biggest attacking threat but their defence has been just as impressive, keeping four clean sheets in those seven most recent games.
Richard Lavery hopes to name some new signings in his squad today, with a number of new players added to the squad.
James Jepson, an experienced central midfielder, counts Shepshed Dynamo, Rugby Town and Kettering Town among his recent former clubs, while Nick Goold ends a long affiliation with county rivals Quorn to link up with Lavery’s side.
Other signings include winger Kai Tonge, midfielder Josh Burniston and right back Abdul Muhammad.
