Hinckley AFC have been drawn away to Marske United in the fourth round of the Buildbase FA Vase.
The draw for the last 32 was made at Wembley earlier today, and sees Dale Belford’s side pitted with an away tie on Teesside.
AFC reached this stage courtesy of wins over step five high flyers AFC Mansfield and Deeping Rangers, and now face a similarly tough task in round four.
Marske sit second in the Northern League Division One, widely regarded as a strongest step five league in the country, and have lost just three times in the league this term.
They did, though, have to enter the FA Vase at the earliest possible stage back in September, and have won five games to get this far.
Their best ever Vase run is to the quarter finals, in 2000-01 and 2008-09, while Hinckley will be looking to equal their best ever run, to the fifth round, with an upset on Teesside.
It brings to an end Hinckley’s run of five straight home ties in the competition and will be Hinckley’s first game of the new year on Saturday, January 6.
