Hinckley AFC will play their fourth consecutive home game when Southam United visit St John’s Park tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.
Carl Abbott’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways against Southam, after losing their ten game unbeaten record with defeat to Lutterworth Town in the Jelson Homes Senior Cup on Tuesday.
That came after last week’s extra time win over Wolves Sporting, meaning it’s now a fortnight since Hinckley last played a league game.
AFC remain sixth in the Midland League Division One table, with 21 points from their ten games, and will move above Nuneaton Griff with a win over a Southam side who sit bottom of the table.
The Saints were reprieved from relegation at the end of last season through Continental Star and Bardon Hill both dropping two levels, but are yet to win a game so far this campaign.
They have recorded two draws – against Cadbury Athletic and Coventry Copsewood – and are three points adrift of Studley at the foot of the table.
Hinckley will be without former Southam defender Mike Harvey after he departed during the week to go travelling in Australia, but Jack Farmer could make his debut after signing during the week.
